Seven selected artists were offered access to the waste stream at the City of Santa Cruz’s Resource Recovery Facility plus free access to the tools and equipment at Idea FabLabs Santa Cruz in order to make art from refuse.  The artists are Tra Bouscaren, Tauna Coulson, Leslie Morgan, Danielle Peters, Dustin Raphael, Lauren Ringelman, and Jane Silverglate.  SCRAP is sponsored by the City of Santa Cruz and the Santa Cruz Arts Commission and co-sponsored by Idea Fab Labs, New Leaf Community Markets and the Santa Cruz Warriors.
